What kind of repairs do you do?

We do everything from guitar setup to neck repairs to pickup replacements and everything between. If it is possible, we will make it happen.

How do I care for my guitar?

There are many ways to keep your guitar sounding its best at all times. One of our favorite CB Perkins Pro Tips is to make be mindful of the temperature in the area your instrument is stored. In the words of our Master Luthier Kent Perkins, your guitar is like a baby and should be kept in cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Guitars do best in 60 to 75 degrees Fahrenheit.

What are the most common guitar repairs?

Most common guitar repairs we see are usually restrings and setups.

How long will it take for my guitar to be ready?

Here at CB Perkins we pride ourselves in upholding timeliness because we want you to get back to rockin’ out with your guitar playing smoothly as soon as possible. Most minor repairs are able to be completed in a week. We also guarantee all setups to be done in 24-72 hours. Note if it is an urgent repair, get in touch with us and we will do our best to accommodate your situation.

How does warranty on guitar repair work?

We are a certified warranty center for all stringed instruments for Fender, Gibson and Ibanez. Typically no charge in warranty situation unless additional labor is required. All we need from you is proof of warranty and we’ll take care if it from there!

Is it possible to speak to the Luthier working on my guitar?
